The rotary vane vacuum pump is an oil-sealed mechanical vacuum pump, which is mainly composed of a pump body, a rotor, a rotary vane, an end cover, and a spring. There are two types of rotary vane vacuum pumps: single-stage and double-stage. Plasma cleaners generally use two-stage rotary vane vacuum pumps. The so-called two-stage rotary vane vacuum pump is to connect two single-stage vacuum pumps in series.
A rotor is eccentrically installed in the pump cavity of the rotary vane vacuum pump. The outer circle of the rotor is tangent to the inner surface of the pump cavity, and two springs are installed in the rotor groove. When rotating, the top of the rotary vane is kept in contact with the inner wall of the pump cavity by centrifugal force and spring force, and the rotation of the rotor drives the rotary vane to slide along the inner wall of the pump cavity. The rotary vane vacuum pump uses two rotary vanes to divide the pump cavity into three parts. Because the rotor is installed eccentrically, the space divided into three parts changes with the rotation of the rotor, and the pressure difference is used to achieve pumping.
Rotary vane vacuum pumps are most of the backing pumps used in vacuum plasma cleaning equipment. It can be used as a small cavity or vacuum pump set.
